Hyatt Place Raleigh-Durham Airport

Nice hotel! Rooms are very roomy. Easy ride to the airport.

Had a problem with the initial room assignment but the front desk personnel Ashley took care of the problem & quickly reassign us another room.

Had a real early flight at RDU. Park my car here for a reasonable price. Lot Cheaper than parking at RDU. Took a Uber for eight dollars. Nice !!

Rooms were fabulous. Great petsonnel. One significant issue. We had the park and fly option and we stayed overnight at the end of our vacation. We were supposed to call the hotel to get tge shuttle to pick us up from the airport. We called tons of times but got the message that the phone was not in service. We had to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. We assumed the hotel would reimburse us for the taxi expense. But apparently the phone problem was with their phone provider, so hyatt did not feel it was their responsibility to reimburse us. The desk personnel contacted the manager to see if they can do anything for us , but the manager said no.

The breakfast was excellent, especially considering it was complimentary. The airport shuttle, running every 30 minutes, was also very convenient. However, since the hotel is located right under the runway, the aircraft noise was quite loud.

This Hyatt Place clearly gets its customer. They understand what matters—a spacious, clean room that’s thoughtfully stocked and, most importantly, where everything works. Comfortable bed, ample closet space, laundry essentials. Easy accessibility throughout, though the lobby and dining area aren’t large. Lights, outlets, heating/cooling, water pressure, coffee maker—all exactly what they needed to be: functional, reliable. Nothing I could complain about—and after ~35 nights in similar hotels this past year, that kind of seamless experience is shockingly rare. Especially for me. I get real annoyed at botched basics. You can’t make up for it with high-tech gimmicks. Staff (3 I directly interacted with) were also all refreshingly genuine, welcoming, and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but solid and included. Ordinarily, there’s not much more depressing to me than the idea of a hotel bar, but after a grueling day, the staff’s dry humor and generous pours helped me and my colleagues blow off steam and actually enjoy being there. It was a welcome surprise. Maybe I was just lucky, but I stayed in two different rooms during this trip, and the experience was consistent in both—so I doubt it. By now it goes without saying, but I’d gladly book here again.

I love that they have a kitchenette. The place smells good and the room is spacious. The receptionists are very kind. The breakfast is good as well. We arrived in the evening and it is quite hard to spot where it is, its good that the sign is big, so we are able to see.

Room is clean and comfortable. Location in relation to the airport is fantastic and they have shuttle to and from the airport as well as free breakfast. Their shop for beverages is limited and staff friendliness is hit and miss, but that can be everywhere.
